Waterloo/Marshall Community Expo

The Community Expo highlights Marshall and Waterloo businesses. It will be held in Waterloo in 2013 from 9am to 1pm.
Admission and parking is free. The event rotates between the two communities of Waterloo and Marshall. There are typically about 60 businesses exhibiting, door prizes and raffles by the individual businesses. You do not want to miss it!

We have dinner, socializing, and we present the Volunteer of the Year Award.
The Cash Bar opens at 5:30 for an hour of mingling and socializing. Dinner will begin at 6:30 with a brief business meeting following. We will elect Board officers and present the Volunteer of the Year Award.

Easter Egg Hunt

Held the day before Easter at Firemen's Park. Over 1200 eggs filled with candy are "hidden" in the Park for children nine years old and under to find. Children are split into three age groups: 0-3 years, 4-6 years and 7-9 years old. The Easter Bunny makes an appearance so bring your camera! |

Join the party on July 6th at Firemen's Park. Events include: Teeners Baseball Game and food. The Chamber has sold root beer/soda floats in the past. Fireworks are at dusk (about 10pm). |

Grab a friend or three and join us for a fun day of golf and networking! You don't even have to be a good golfer in this Best Ball Scramble. Shotgun start is at 8:00 am. 14, 2013. Past events include:
Wiener Tent with Wiener & Kraut and Naked Wieners,
Beer Tent,
Street Vendors,
Walk/Run to benefit Waterloo Friends of the Carousel,
Amazing Race,
Hot Dog Eating Contest,
our own Waterloo City Band,
Wiener Dog Parade led by the Waterloo High School Band and the Miller Park Sausage Racers,
Bands on the Main Stage until 10:00pm

Merchant Trick or Treat

Head downtown if you are ten years old or younger! Merchants downtown and throughout Waterloo will be giving out treats. Look for an orange pumpkin in their window to show that they are participating. Spooky Halloween music over loudspeakers sets the mood downtown!
Event has been moved to Tuesday to coordinate with school schedule of a two-day week because of teacher convention.
City wide trick or treat hours are set by City Hall. This year they are on Sunday, October 30th from 2-5 pm. |

The Holiday Parade has been taken over by another community group. They are planning to make the parade bigger and better every year so plan on being downtown at 4:00pm to watch.
